Valentine's Day Edit: The Best of Red and Pink Homeware

Call me emotionally suppressed (I probably am!) but I really have an aversion to hearts on homeware pieces anywhere and can’t for the life of me stomach overly sentimental quotes. I’m also not even much of a fan of Valentine’s Day (grumpy, much?!) and am more than happy for the day to surpass me by.
However, what I do love, is the magical combo of red and pink together and the fact that Valentine’s Day bring’s these colours to the forefront is a huge positive for me.
Most commonly seen in a stripe pattern and alongside the frill trend (which is not going anywhere, my friend,) I love the red and pink cushions, tablecloths, napkins and towels that will brighten up any room and add a huge dose of dopamine decor to your space.
If this feels too bold for you, there are subtler patterns to embrace like the popular splat dots (another trend that’s here to stay,) simple florals, ric rac or scallops, bows and bobbins.

Red and Pink: Best of Artwork on a Budget
There are so many affordable options for art these days, and if you have access to a good printer, you can even download the digital version and print them yourself. However, there is something to be said for a professionally printed artwork, so if you’r printer dulls or changes the colour, it’s probably best to stick to purchasing a paper copy.
I also look for artwork on Facebook Marketplace and eBay, where you can find original paintings at very reasonable prices - even better when they come framed!
