You don’t need to have a dedicated guest room to make your guests feel welcome. There are little things you can do to help their stay be as comfortable as possible, from ensuring they have a mirror in their room to providing a little bin, the wifi code available and some hooks on the back of the door for clothing or a reading light for cosy evenings and middle of the night toilet trips.
If you do have a guest room, there’s nothing like guests coming at Christmas to give you a deadline to get it ready! Here’s some items for creating a lovely warm wintery bedroom, perfect for the festive season but with items you can use all year round too.
