The Otto House: Girls’ Bedroom

Post contains some affiliate links.

The girls’ bedroom uses a mix of subtle colours with earthy tones which will last well as they age together. The beds are vintage from eBay and offer great storage underneath with the crates from This Modern Life. The reading nook offers a fun contrast colour and the curtains, which I get asked about a lot, were made by myself using fabric from a linen bedding set I found in the sale.

Their wall light was bought years ago for our old kitchen and isn’t exactly the same as the one listed below. I think Spark & Bell have released a new updated design, which is actually much nicer than the one we have, but unfortunately with a much heftier price tag than I ever remember paying for our version.

Similarly, our desk from Blue Ticking is slightly different to the one pictured here, as it is also vintage so therefore not widely available but if you’re after a desk, Facebook Marketplace, ebay and vintage sellers like Blue Ticking, are a great start!
